August 28th is shaping up to be quite the awesome-fest! Mark your calendars now. BIG NEWS!!! We are very happy to welcome THE HAMMERED to the lineup for this show. THE HAMMERED is the stage name for the BROS pit band. This six member music machine will be playing all of the music for Gründlehämmer. They have been busy at work rehearsing and arranging music and will be showing off some never before heard songs from the Gründlehämmer soundtrack. Also, SODA DRINKERS an excellent rock band containing members of Art Department and Microwave Background, will be playing at Load of Fun on the 28th, along with everyone's favorite 80's rock bluegrass cover band WILD BONERZ! This incredibly fun and hilarious band is a side project of local favorite The Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad (excellent bluegrass covers of your favorite 80's jams, for real)AK Slaughter, Lizz King, Mr. Unloved, Wild Bonerz, Soda Drinkers, Burlesque by Paco Fish and Debi Gonzales, comedy by Tim Paggi plus The Hammered! (performing songs from the rock opera Gründlehämmer!)plus carnival games, beer from Brewer's Art and a variety of WEIRDNESS. All Ages - 8pm. $10 admission includes 2 free drink tickets.
