This most excellent studio recording is of the two songs Vengeance and Guide My Hand that will be featured in the rock opera Gründlehämmer. These epic recordings are courtesy of our gracious sponsor NICE PACKAGE PRODUCTIONS. Nice Package Recording (and Nice Package Disc Duplication) is one of the greatest places to record in the Baltimore Area. The members of BROS have used them for NUMEROUS recording projects, all of which have turned out beautifully, and we are thrilled with the quality of this recording as well.

Check them out for recording, mastering, duplication or any other music projects you might have coming up.
In the meantime download the track for full enjoyment.

Pre Sale now available on Brown Paper Tickets

July 28th, 2009

Pre sale tickets are available right now from Brown Paper Tickets.

They are a not-for-profit ticketing organization that minimizes transaction costs so that a ticket-buyer doesn’t get slammed with outrageous ticketing and “processing” fees.

The cost is $10 for our Friday and Saturday evening performances. (Oct 2nd and 3rd) and $8 for our Sunday matinee (Oct 4th).

Get em while they’re hot!

Beers and BROS!

The Brewer’s Art Fundraiser was a Smashing success! Thanks so much to our cast and crew, family and friends who came out!  We even managed to make a few NEW friends due to the overwhelming friendliness of our Minotaurs.

Thanks again to Volker and the whole crew at the Brewer’s Art for helping us out.  We’ll be doing more with those peeps in the future.  In the meantime, why don’t you go have a glass of Ozzy for us?

BROS Update #1

June 22nd, 2009

Summer is upon us; The juice is thick.  Gründlehämmer production is under way!  For those of your who are out of the loop, here is what we have been up to.

The main round of auditions is complete and we are nearly ready to announce our cast.  Callbacks are at the SkyLofts, Tues (22nd) at 6:30pm.   We are accepting first round auditions (i.e. you couldn’t make it to the main auditions sessions) by appointment only (email baltimorerockopera@gmail.com to set one up)

Designs are taking shape.  Everyone who is interested in helping build,  sew, paint, construct chain mail, operate puppets, do makeup and everything else behind the scenes….we will be calling on you very soon.  If you have already emailed us, we will be in touch with you soon to let you know meeting times and places.   If you haven’t yet talked to us and would like to get involved send us an email!  Let us know where you’re interested in helping out, and how big a role you would like to play.  We’ll find something for you.

We also have some big events planned for Artscape weekend and some wild nights at Brewer’s Art and The LOF/T space to tell you about.

Stay tuned here for more info!!!  We are going to be slowly adding content here and there.  Please comment away and let us know what we need to post.

Much luv,

The BROS
