Your favorite rock opera society is looking for badass actors, singers, and dancers for a new world-premiere rock theater extravaganza, CHRONOSHRED: The Adventures of Stardust Lazerdong.

We will be casting 9 primary roles, 6  secondary roles, a small ensemble and a team of dancers/movement experts. We are not specifically looking for any one actor type for any of the roles. All are welcome. Although we do not have a lead role for a young actor, actors aged 12 and up are encouraged to attend!

Auditions will take place at BROS HQ, aka the Bell Foundry 1st floor: 1539 N Calvert Street, Baltimore MD 21202 (enter through glass double doors on south side of Federal Street, east of Calvert).

Friday July 24 – 7pm-10pm
Saturday July 25 – 1pm-6pm
Sunday July 26 – 12pm-5pm

ABOUT THE SHOW:
CHRONOSHRED: The Adventures of Stardust Lazerdong is an action-packed sci-fi comedy that feels like watching all of your favorite Saturday morning cartoons – transported 3000 years into the future! Join Stardust Lazerdong and his band of badass aliens as they transmit their music to billions across the universe on a pirate video signal, creating new fans and even more enemies as they time-travel across the galaxy! They'll have to work together to outsmart the evil BiznizCorp, battle T.I.M.E.C.O.P.s, and discover the secret of the Chronoriff to fulfill their destiny and throw the biggest concert of all time. CHRONOSHRED: the future is coming!!!

CHRONOSHRED is the 7th original production written and produced by the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. The show will open in Baltimore and will be performed for four weekends.

SHOW DATES:
NOVEMBER 2015 or JANUARY 2016.

Performance dates are currently being fixed and will be locked down before auditions. Please be prepared to give us your conflicts through JANUARY 2016.

FRIDAY TIME SLOTS:
7pm, 8pm, 9pm

SATURDAY TIME SLOTS:
1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm

SUNDAY TIME SLOTS:
12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Group auditions will begin promptly on the hour for each session. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.

Walk-ins will be accepted if they arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled audition slot and as time permits. Please prepare NO MORE THAN  five minutes of material.All auditionees are encouraged to sing something but there are non-singing parts in the show.

One prepared monologue and one song is encouraged for actors. ⅛” audio input (headphone cable) into a stereo will be provided for music playback and a piano (but no accompanist).

A short piece of prepared movement is encouraged for dancers.

Please dress for MOVEMENT.

Please come prepared to list any preliminary conflicts from August 1st, 2015 through February 1st, 2016.

This is a NON-EQUITY show. Actors will not be paid for their work, but food will be provided during all tech and show dates.
