The Baltimore Rock Opera Society and Arena Players, Inc. are holding band auditions for our collaborative production Constellations & Crossroads, a double-header remount of 2015’s short-form rock operas Determination of Azimuth and Battle of Blue Apple Crossing.

Following standard BROS format, the band will perform live in conjunction with the show. There are two distinct sounds for the two halves of the show, though we are seeking band members who can overlap if possible. We are looking for talented folks to take these tunes to their next evolution.

We are seeking the following instrumentation:
Guitar
Bass guitar
Drums
Auxiliary percussion
Strings (cello, violin)
Anything else!

Ability to read music is a big plus since the rehearsal time will be limited, but it’s not required.

Each musician will receive a stipend of $100 for their role in the show.

To schedule an audition time, please email auditions@baltimorerockopera.org. Please prepare 5-10 minutes of your best repertoire: sweet licks, badass beats, and room filling chords. We are looking for original compositions, but will also accept something by another band / artist that you feel best represents you and your style. BYO instrument. We can set up a drum kit or amps if needed.

Other rehearsals will be scheduled once the band is in place.
