The Baltimore Rock Opera Society is holding band auditions for our spring 2018 production, Incredibly Dead!

Incredibly Dead! tells the story of Reggie and Silas Cryptz, two moronic, unscrupulous morticians who are down on their luck. When they come across a secret chemical created by a nefarious madman, they throw caution to the wind to try and save their own skins. This is a classic B-horror romp with bad people doing bad things, and bad things happening to them.

Following standard BROS format, the band will perform live in conjunction with the show. The band will provide a nostalgic synthy underscore to the show, but also open up into thick symphonic metal and pop styles. The metal will be strong, but some of the show needs a light touch.

We are seeking the following instrumentation:
Bass
Drums
Guitar
Synth
2x wind
2x strings

Ability to read music is a plus, as is the ability to play other instruments. It's going to be a larger band, so we are looking for people who can play well in a group.

To schedule an audition time, visit http://bit.ly/IDBandAuditions.

Please prepare 5-10 minutes of your best repertoire: sweet licks, badass beats, and room filling chords. We encourage original compositions, but will also accept something by another band/artist that you feel best represents you and your style. BYO instrument; we will supply a drum kit and a Roland keyboard amp that can also be used for guitar or bass. If you need anything else provided, please email auditions@baltimorerockopera.org and we will see if we can accommodate your request.

We will also accept audio or video recordings if you are unable to make auditions. Those can also be sent to auditions@baltimorerockopera.org.
