On Tuesday, July 19 at 7pm the Baltimore Rock Opera Society will be hosting an info night about our next show: Brides of Tortuga!

This violent, raucous, rebellious rock and roll musical begins in 1661 in Calais, France, and crosses the open Atlantic Ocean before coming to a bloody close in the Caribbean Sea. The show features a large cast of female leads, epic sets, intensive fight choreography, a stirring vocal ensemble, and a combined rock band / orchestra to create a powerful statement about rage, self-determination and kicking ass on a boat.

Brides of Tortuga is the 8th original production written and produced by the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. The show will open on October 28th and will be performed for three weekends.

At the meeting you'll hear all about the concept behind the show and check out presentations by the department leaders who will be asking for YOUR HELP to make this epic show look as  awesome as possible! BROS is a volunteer-based organization – we can't do this without your help!

We're looking for set builders, costume makers, buckle swashers, prop scavengers, set painters and MORE! This is going to be another BRAND-NEW and (we think) SUPER EXCITING venture for BROS, so come on out and hang with your favorite rock opera society!

Our doors will be open to ALL: be you a veteran since the days of the original Gründlehämmer or a brand new friend of the BROS – we want to see your face!

ONWARD TO GLORY!

BROS HQ is located in the first floor of the Bell Foundry – our entrances are the double glass doors on Federal Street. Can't make the meeting but want to stay in touch? Sign up as a volunteer and get on our newsletter!
