Comprised of two new rock operas titled Amphion and The Terrible Secret of Lunastus, the Double Feature is guaranteed to provide the level of awesome that Baltimore expects of its resident rock opera society. The earth-shattering world premiere will run for two consecutive weekends from May 27 to June 5, 2011, and tickets will be available March 1 at http://www.baltimorerockopera.org. BROS is also announcing a partnership with Ms. Billie Taylor, the new owner of the Showtime Theater located at 9 West 25th Street in Charles Village. Ms. Taylor is working with BROS to convert the 250 seat cinema into a stage theater that will be home to BROS and other Baltimore theater groups for years to come. "I'm excited that BROS will be the first group to perform in the Showtime Theater. Their enthusiasm has really helped bring the theater to life, and it's going to provide a lot of opportunities for all types of artists in Baltimore," says Ms. Taylor.BROS leadership shares the excitement of Ms. Taylor's vision.
