Hot on the heels of our new status as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) is proud to announce the opening of three positions of employment within the company. BROS’ Board of Directors seeks to fill these positions as soon as possible and is inviting applications through July 8, 2015. A Hiring Committee of the Board will review applications and schedule interviews with qualified candidates in July. Managing Director: primarily responsible for executing all strategies, methods, and processes within BROS’ Administration work group. The Managing Director ensures that the BROS vision becomes a reality by establishing and communicating clear goals for the organization, empowering company members to accomplish those goals, and overseeing the acquisition of resources (including talent, money, suppliers, and venues).
Production Director: responsible for the organizational systems by which BROS accomplishes the Mission and Vision of the company. The Production Director manages timelines and budgets for production, and is responsible for overseeing and staffing department leader roles for production. The Production Director is a resource for BROS’ creative teams, connecting them to the materials, budgets and information that they need to complete their quest.
Volunteer Director: ensures that each and every BROS volunteer is a cultural fit for the organization, effectively engaged, conducts themselves in a manner consistent with the organization’s values and has a positive experience with BROS in accordance with BROS’ values.The Volunteer Director defines and clarifies the policies to guide volunteers, identify outstanding individuals to move into leadership roles, and connect them with resources within the vast network of BROS to improve effectiveness, creativity, and skill sets.
