The Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) is looking for actors, singers, and dancers for a new, world-premiere, large-scale musical extravaganza, Love & ROAR! A heartfelt comedy of monstrous proportions!
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Love & ROAR! takes place in Bay City, an idyllic place to live, until one day, when giant monsters appear and demolish everything in their path. In the midst of this life-altering chaos, the freshly dumped Dr. Mary Ekhart meets Kintaro, and lonely monster, unlucky on the battlefield and in love. Their unlikely bond and a mysterious dormant power may save everyone from the greatest cataclysm ever known: PROM.
Love & ROAR! is love letter to romantic comedies and Japanese monster movies. Audiences will witness Atomic Age antics,while discovering the value of friendship, empathy, and love. Big sets, big monsters, big music, and bigger heart. After all, all’s fair in Love and ROAR!"
AUDITION SPECIFICS:
Each audition will last approximately one hour. You will work in groups. Prepare any rock/pop song of your choosing and be ready to sing a portion. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Come prepared to sing, move, and read sides with other performers. We will be casting up to 15 roles with spoken lines, as well as non-speaking/movement-only roles.

Auditions will take place Friday July 22nd from 6:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday July 23rd from 12:00pm-5:00pm at BROS HQ: 3701 Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21218 (our paved lot is in the back on Old York; signage posted).

The production runs from the first through the third weekends of November 2022 in Baltimore.
• Group auditions will begin promptly on the hour for each session.
• Please dress comfortably for movement and bring water.
