BROS has undertaken a daunting series of projects since the launch of our fundraising campaign in December, and we're proud to say that they've all been very successful. As of February 21, with the cooperation of Baltimore City and our landlords, we have regained access to the first floor of the Bell Foundry and will be able to finish out our lease, which ends in December 2017. Although we have regained the space where we can produce our work, BROS remains steadfastly committed to gaining a permanent home base for all of our operations AND performances.
With the help of three official fundraising events, three unofficial fundraisers hosted by our members and (as of this post) 240 individual donations to the campaign we are nearly halfway to our goal! As we get back to the work of producing our next original rock opera (The Terrible Secret of Lunastus, premiering in September 2017) we are more resolved than ever to become a permanent fixture in Baltimore's community arts experience.
To celebrate the halfway point we are releasing the BROS compilation album Gründle Jammers for FREE to all of our Crowdrise donors. This greatest hits album is comprised of some of the greatest songs from our seven music releases. A digital copy of this 20-track album will be emailed to all contributors to this campaign! Any size donation is qualified, even those who contributed back in December. Thank you for all your support this far – we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated to our campaign, held a fundraiser, attended an event, shared an article, or just generally sent us good vibes during this crazy time. We could not do this without you!
