We Need You! Help us make our next awesome piece of musical theater! The Baltimore Rock Opera Society is already developing the Spring 2026 show American Vamp, and we’re looking for a composer to sink their teeth into this epic new show! What is American Vamp? American Vamp is the story of a young woman as she begins a new job at a corporation unexpectedly staffed by vampires, where she must decide between her ambitions—and her survival. Voted in as the Spring 2026 major production, the musical style was pitched as "Emphatic Rock at the heart, with swooping operatic vocal lines" Where do you come in? We have a story and a script. As a composer, you’ll be collaborating with the writing team and eventually the band to produce songs and lyrics that will bring this show to (un)life! Creating a BROS show is an over-the-top, exciting, community-building experience unlike any other. Come with us into the realm of creation, and we’ll come back with something truly special. Timeline If you choose to embark on this journey with us, you’ll be developing the score over the next 8 months, with demos available for Band Auditions in December 2025.
